Hagia Sophia – World Heritage Site
The Supreme Administrative Court in Turkey has canceled the status of the famous Hagia Sophia building in Istanbul as a museum. This clears the way to use the former church as a mosque. In Turkey, a dispute has been raging for years about whether Hagia Sophia should be used again as a mosque after 85 years.
