Robert Evans, born on June 29th, 1930 in New York, is considered one of Hollywood’s most successful producers. After he failed being a successful actor, he begins a management career with the major Hollywood studios. In the 1960s, he became Vice President of Paramount where he was responsible for major projects such as “Rosemary’s Baby (1968)”, “Love Story (1970)”, “Harold and Maude (1971)”, “The Godfather (1972)” and “The Great Gatsby (1974) ". Under his aegis Paramount will become the most successful studio in Hollywood. In 1974 he started his own business and works as a freelance producer. His most successful productions include “Chinatown (1974)”, “The Marathon Man (1976)” and “Cotton Club (1984)”.
Died on October 26th, 2019 in Beverly Hills.
