Climate Change & extinction of species
“Save the earth, it’s not too late for change”
2019 – that was the slogan of the climate activists in Madrid. Tens of thousands protested with
Greta Thunberg , the symbolic figure of the movement. Madrid dealt with measures that could change global climate policy quickly, but the results were more than disappointing.
In 2019 Greta Thunberg was voted Person of the Year by ‘Time’ Magazine, this year she launched the ‘Fridays for Future’ movement. The global school and student movement has long viewed the climate crisis as a real threat to its future. Since they will be the victims of climate change, they take to the streets every Friday and demonstrate for more climate protection.
2018 – The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Katowice in Poland was about binding climate goals, because joint action is urgently needed. Global warming, environmental degradation and man-made environmental disasters threaten the lives of millions. In the near future, one consequence will be the increase in the influx of climate refugees.
May 2019 – Extinction of species – the UN report on the state of nature, diagnosed, a million animal and plant species worldwide could become extinct if humans did not realize that the species on this earth form their livelihood and
thereby enable his survival.
