"Egon Schiele - Tod und Mädchen"
At the beginning of the 20th century Egon Schiele is one of the most provocative artists in Vienna. His life and work are driven by beautiful women, attracted by Schiele’s aura and daring talent, such as sister Gerti, wife Edith and his model and truelove Wally.
In 1915, Schiele completed one of his principal works "Tod und Mädchen", which shows the painter and his muse in a painful embrace. The painting is often seen as his farewell to Wally.
Shortly before the end of the First World War, Schiele fell ill with the Spanish flu and died in Vienna.
